Every event has its own energy. Whether it's a literary festival, a music event, a community celebration or a conference, I'm interested in far more than what happens on stage. I look for the moments in between – the conversations, the anticipation, the volunteers, the audience reactions, the portraits, the details and the atmosphere that make every event unique.
Working quietly and unobtrusively, I aim to create a collection of photographs that not only document an event, but capture how it felt to be there.
